A Social Mission with Aji Peppers

Small scale farming of aji peppers employs the largest amount of people in the Peruvian agricultural sector.  These peppers are fundamental to everyday Peruvian cuisine, however most of these farmers are extremely poor with few possibilities to improve the standard of living of their families.

Tradicion Peruana helps these farmers with education on more efficient farming techniques, with access to more modern farming equipment, and by paying these farmers higher prices for their pepper crops than what they normally find in wholesale markets.   Our mission is to bring Peru's traditional aji sauces to international markets and use part of our sales revenues to help Peru's aji farmers break the cycle of poverty.
